Tonight’s Essential Cartoon brings back The Spiders.
It’s funny, but when I miss a few weeks of drawing them, I realized I have to get reacquainted with their design. The same thing with my Beware of Beartrap characters. When I don’t take the time to regularly visit and draw them, I begin to lose the connection I had built with them. And as a result they look sloppier, less clean & well shaped.
So now I make it a point to draw them –spiders & Beartrap characters– every couple days, to keep them fresh.
Until mañana . . .
