Hola Night Owls & Early Birds
I hope everyone’s had a great Saturday.
I picked up some much needed supplies at the Dollar (+25 cents) Tree. They have the 9X12 paper I use for making the final mock-ups of my cartoons–the draft right before I commit the cartoon to the 9X12 Bristol board. Also 3-hole punch paper for the initial ideas, and then legal pads to plan the overall compositions.
So far I have 3 completed cartoons–today’s, tomorrow’s and Monday’s. And I’ve got 2 more, one inked and one I penciled tonight. My goal is to get a week’s worth of cartoons in the can.
Good news! I got the go-ahead from the animal rescue shelter to send them my cat and dog cartoons for their online newsletter. The woman in charge appeared to like the samples I sent her. Thanks mom for the push!
