Hola Night Owls & Early Birds
When Lee — Webmaster Guru Extraordinaire — originally built this awesome Our Absurd Life website, he asked me to come up with titles for all the cartoons. If I remember correctly, I had to go back and come up with titles for about 50 cartoons. And then, of course, to keep up the chore creating titles for each new cartoon.
The challenge has always been to create titles that synopsisize (totally made up word) the cartoon. Now, being of the poetic world, I’ve always liked titles that have 2 meanings. I believe there’s a French term for that–which maybe my friend Miriam could help me out with.
Tonight’s cartoon title is one of those titles: It means something different for both Melvin and for Marjorie. It took me about 10 minutes flailing around in my head trying to nail down an appropriate title, but when I cornered it, I knew it was a good fit.
Have a great night, everyone.
Until mañana . . .
Enjoy!
