Tonight’s Essential Cartoon presents another serving of Spaghetti.
Due to the sharpness of an HB pencil, its lead can make indents into the board, which can make it harder to erase. So I used a 2B pencil tonight whose lead is slightly softer. But the softer the lead means the more it smudges.
2B or not 2B?
That is still the question.
I’ll have to keep trying it out, see if I like the 2B. Or I may just go back to the HB, which is similar to a Number 2 pencil. But no relation to the 2B pencil.

I’ve been holding off on doing cartoons that show the characters full bodies. I’ve been practicing them, for both Paul and Spaghetti. It’s been easier, and less stressful, to focus on their faces and upper bodies. I’d like to feel more confident before I pull back the camera lens to reveal more in the scene.
I guess that’s it.
