Tonight’s Essential Cartoon may be more appreciated by those who have seen a therapist at one time in their lives. Or lots of therapists. Or even a guidance counselor. Or even lots of guidance counsellors.
I’ve been experimenting with drawing thick and thin lines. From my understanding, the thicker lines work best along curves. It gives the character more body and an organic feel. I’ve been using a cool calligraphy brush pen to go over my lines. It’s a Fudenosuke that is put out by Tombow. Nice sharp pliable brush tip, that works well for beginners.
Until the day after tomorrow — or maybe tomorrow . . .
Humor abounds. And even sometimes rears up on its hind legs.
