Hola Night Owls
I hope everyone has had a well-read and well-fed day — and not just feasting on Facebook, I mean.
I sometimes think about the career ideas I had as a kid — detective, make-up artist, mad scientist, rapper. Also wanting to be a film maker, I had big plans to remake Jaws with my best friend Michael. Yes, I was 10 years old and had found a book at a used bookstore on how to build boats. We were going to build it, and then sink it in the shallow ocean water, and film it while the shark attacks. At least that was my fantasy.
I had some outlandish ideas as a kid, and I roped Michael into most of them. Gotta give him a call. Maybe I can convince him to finally make that Jaws movie with me.
