I hope everyone had a cursive day — one where everything just flowed.
It sure flowed for me! All over my sneakers when the clothes washing machine poured its watery guts out and flooded the laundry room floor. I felt like a pirate swabbing the deck. Thanks, Mike, for pitching in and gettin’ the darn thing to drain. Don’t worry, George, we’ll leave you outta this fix-it mess.
Tonight’s Essential Cartoon highlights that trepidation one feels when starting a new job. There’s always some adjustment period, especially in a new workplace, as we’ll see in the cartoon.
I wish everyone a dry rest of the night for your sneakers. Or whatever footwear you tread the Earth in. Unless you normally wear soggy shoes.
