Hola Night Owls
I hope everyone has had a best-seller day.
Speaking of best sellers, I wanted to congratulate my dad, Carlos Gasquez, on getting his 2nd book self-published on Amazon. His first book came out in 2019. It was titled, “On the Road to Winemaking.” This memoir is a racy, very entertaining read, highlighting a time during college when he was forced to take on a job with an unusual twist. His new book, titled “A Long Summer” is a series of short stories, almost all centering around his childhood in Argentina. The book is fun and absorbing, and does a great job bringing to life some very special times in my dad’s life with his family. It also contains a very scary experience as an adult that he was extremely blessed to walk away from. He had originally written the books in Spanish, then translated them to English with my mom’s help.
Please take a look at them on Amazon if you get a chance. You can read the first few pages online.
Nice work, dad! And mom, too!
I wish everyone a restful rest of your night.
Until mañana . . .
Enjoy!
