Our Absurd Life: 01/03/21 – The Relic

The Relic

Hola Night Owls

I hope everyone has had an interesting day.

For tonight’s Essential Cartoon, I ask that you pretend it’s 10 years in the future.

Thank you to Ed C for sending me a news story about Gene Kahane of Alameda County.  Gene was a poet laureate of Alameda who began to hang his poems off trees for people to read and gain positive inspiration when they started sheltering in place last year.  He placed new poems, affixed to cardboard hung from a branch, each and every day, and continues to do so today.  Ed said the Gene Kahane story reminded him of my cartoon challenge.  That’s really cool.

I wish everyone a restful rest of your night.

Until tomorrow . . .

“Let’s still be careful out there.”
