Hola Night Owls
I hope everyone has had a squeaky-clean windshield kinda day.
Tonight’s Essential Cartoon echoes a previous cartoon from May 16: The wife yelling at her husband, Harold, that it’s “Shelter in place!” NOT “Shelter in space!” So, 7 months later, same situation.
Speaking of “yelling,” I met with an editor a couple of weeks ago to review some of my earlier cartoons. She didn’t care for how angry and mad some of my characters looked, saying I should go for a more exasperated expression. She believed the angry faces would turn off the readers, and I should make them look more humorous. She talked about the Shelter in Space cartoon in particular. I’m not really sure where I stand on this subject. I guess more will be revealed.
I wish everyone a restful rest of your night.
Until tomorrow . . .
Enjoy!

“Let’s still be careful out there.”
