I hope everyone has had a big-spender day. And not just on paper goods.
Tonight’s Essential Cartoon was a tough one. It was 10 o’clock last night and I felt like I was on the ropes. I had 45 minutes left to knock out a cartoon. The intro bit had been in my “to-do” file for months, but the punchline still alluded me. And time was running out. So I dove in and did what I could, lettering and penciling what I already knew, and believed that just taking actions would be enough to see me through.
And thankfully it all came together in the end, sort of, just shy of 10:45. And my cartoon-a-day challenge continues, moving me speedily through month 7.
Whew!
