I hope everyone has had an opulent day.
Tonight’s Essential Cartoon requires no lead in.
For anyone who grew up reading comic books, I don’t think any of us would have believed that one day our favorite superhero characters like Spider-Man and Captain America would one day be owned by Disney, and Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman would be owned by AT&T.
Oh well.
Let’s hope one day Our Absurd Life cartoons aren’t owned by Home Depot. Or Starbucks. But maybe “Hobarts Chiropractic Institute for the Magically Inclined and Philosophically Fermented INC” would be cool. Now, that’s an off-beat business I could get lost in.
