I hope everyone has had a joyful day.
Tonight’s Essential Cartoon is dedicated to those of us that know our inner truth about something — and still manage to side-step the issue and continue to delude ourselves into believing there ain’t a problem. I’m in that bunch, too.
And a funny story. Last night I learned from my roommate, Chef Mike, that we will have a mandatory curfew starting Saturday night. So I dreamt I was walking around Salinas after-hours and got picked up by the curfew enforcers and put in detention. Shoot, we don’t need a night time curfew. We need a day time one:
5 AM to 10 PM, mandatory curfew. After 10, everyone can run out and get their toilet paper. Just not at Costco.
I wish everyone a restful rest of your evening. And no one sneaking out to get a quick midnight snack either, ya’hear?
