I hope everyone has had a marvelous day.
Thanks to the folks who sent me their encouraging emails. I really appreciate the wisdom and support.
And thanks to Mimi for serving up a magnificent home-baked apple pie today. And to George for taking the time to sit down with me and review our upcoming elections, candidates, bonds, amends, referendums and all the stuff that has puzzled me for years. I don’t have the best political mind, but it helps to a friend that I can turn to for wise counsel. I don’t want to keep watching the world go by from the sidelines. After my time with George, I now feel more prepared to cast my votes.
Tonight’s Essential Cartoon brings back Blair and his best friend Ron. And, what do you know, it has a presidential theme. But not the one you’re expecting. This is also a cartoon that I originally created on 8/26/2018, but re-drew, inked and lettered.
