Tonight’s Essential Cartoon has been in my idea folder for a while. It was a lot easier to finally sit down and just do it when I rethought the composition. Sometimes I get stuck and grind to a halt when I become fixed on one idea of how a cartoon should look (sorta like my life). But if I try out a few other compositional sketches, moving the elements around, then ideas appear which I begin to feel more energized and artistically confident about.
Have I mentioned I can be awfully stubborn at times?
