Tonight’s Essential Cartoon I like a lot. I am sure some professional cartoonist has already done something similar. It’s a simple idea, and quite poignant, in my opinion. I hope you enjoy it.
It’s getting later by the second and I’ve got a cartoon to hammer out. Not iron out, or bang out (which could be similar to hammer out). In other words, I’ve got an hour to bring a cartoon to completion.
