Hola Friends and Family
I hope everyone is having a nifty day. I always thought that was a funny word–nifty. “We had a nifty time.”
Oh well. Another one of our linguistic mysteries. If anyone cares to shed some light on the historical roots of “nifty,” then I’m all ears. Another silly saying, since I only have 2 ears, luckily for me. I did have 3 ears once, but I left one on the bus. Every once in a while I wake up to a resounding “Next stop, Main Street,”so my ear must still be along for the ride.
Tonight’s Essential Cartoon is goofy fun. I hope you all enjoy it. Plus it brings back my 2 favorite spiders, also going along for the ride. It’s so synchronistic how these elements–the cartoon, the well thought out email–all just fit snug like bugs in a rug. Another absurd saying, sheesh, Ian.
