Hola Night Owls
I hope everyone has had an outstanding day. I spent my own outstanding day standing in my house–it was too hot to go outside.
Tonight’s Essential Cartoon was created for my friend Art and his blog. I am hoping he’ll send me a link that I can attach to an upcoming email if anyone would like to visit. I enjoy his self-help topics. He writes about them very well, with valuable insight and humor.
I wanted to thank Joseph E and Sandy S. They both said they remembered their own fathers recite the peas with honey poem to them when they were kids. Sandy’s version had a different 3rd line than the one George had sent me.
I eat my peas with honey
I’ve done it all my life
It makes the peas taste funny
But it keeps them on my knife.
If anyone else has a poem that their parents recited to them, then you are welcome to email it to me. I’d love to see them.
I wish everyone a pleasant rest of the evening.
Until tomorrow. . .
Enjoy!
