Hola Night Owls
I hope everyone had a fine and dandy day. Salinas was HOT. But not as hot as South County. I hope you are all okay down there.
My house mate Mike made chili verde for our Sunday dinner. Melt in your mouth awesome. As another friend of ours is fond of saying–“Never had it so good!” Thanks Mike!
Tonight’s Essential Cartoon falls in the catagory of the classic mystery story. But maybe in this rendering the culprit is easy to figure out.
Today I also worked on another cartoon for my friend Art and his blog which he publishes on the website called Medium. It will also be tomorrow’s Essential Cartoon. I’ve been enjoying my collaboration with Art. He’s been a huge and essential support in my own life and it’s great we have been able to work on some projects together.
Tomorrow is my day off. But no rest for the wicked. Or at least no ice cream sandwiches. I’ve got to look to see if they have some dairy free ice cream. But then it shouldn’t really be called “ice cream.”
Maybe “iced-something-that-looks-like-ice-cream-but-it’s-not-so-don’t-get-your-hopes-up, buddy.”
Hah! I’m a have to ask for that next time I go to Baskin & Robbins. See what they say.
Thanks for listening to my silliness. I wish you all a pleasant night and pleasant dreams.
Until tomorrow. . .
Enjoy!
Ian S.
Salinas!
P.S.
“No rulers were harmed during the making of this cartoon.”
“Let’s still be careful out there.”
