Hola Night Owls
I hope everyone has had a great day. Things are sure warming up for us over here. Gonna be 115 in King City this weekend. Whew! Let’s be extremely careful out there.
Someone asked me the other day where I get my ideas. I told him sometimes I see something that strikes me as funny, or I begin to hear some dialogue in my head that cracks me up. Or, like, yesterday morning. I’m eating my hearty breakfast and I’ve got my jar of honey and my jar of coconut oil on the table. And both jars are kinda nestled close together, almost like they could be talking. Now, mind you, I am NOT a morning person. I’m usually half-asleep until around noon. So I think my brain is still partially asleep while I’m eating my breakfast, which is usually when I get a lot of ideas. And, so, I saw the 2 jars, there was an intimacy about them, and my mind began to form a dialogue, and then I found myself quickly jotting down the idea so I wouldn’t forget.
And there you have it.
But, regarding this particular cartoon, there’s also a 2nd story, which I’ll tell tomorrow.
I wish everyone a safe and happy rest of your night.
Until tomorrow. . .
Enjoy!
