Hola Friends & Family
I hope everyone’s having a great Sunday.
Today’s Essential Cartoon is the 2nd in my CV-19 1/2 News –Person on the Street– interview series. I enjoy doing these a lot. And I like the matter-of-fact, hard-nosed reporter’s response, and his serious, yet quizzical, expression. The cartoon’s punchline comes directly from a close family member of mine who basically said to me, “You don’t have to thank me in your cartoon — you can keep all the credit for yourself.”
So, there you go, thank you, ____________, you ultra mysterious, but comedic, person I know. 😃
Tonight my house mate, Mike, is preparing Cordon Bleu for all of us. But I only get the Cordon part, and not the Bleu. Since I have an intolerance to Bleu, he’s preparing a seperate Cordon sans the Bleu. It’s too bad because I’ve always liked Bleu. (Now I just hope I’m talking about “cheese” and not something else.) Plus, our fantastic neighbor Mimi prepared her wonderful apple crisp dessert for us to enjoy as well. Luckily for me, I do not have an intolerance to either apples or crisp, so I’m good to go.
I wish everyone a safe and “Bleu” free evening. That is if you’ve got some Bleu intolerance of your own, of course.
Until tomorrow. . .
Enjoy!
