Man, I hope everyone is safe and okay. These fires are just terrible. Like what they say, “When it rains it…could cause sudden wild fires ignited by instantaneous lightening bolts.” Sheesh!
Now I’m glad I’m wearing a mask.
Today’s Essential Cartoon brings us back to the world of The Spiders. A friend of mine who shall remain Unnamed (Pat) doesn’t much care for them, but I still like them. And I hope they grow on you. Better then scuttling over you while you’re sleeping, I’ll tell you that much. Right now I spy one on my ceiling that, if measured with a ruler (although all of mine are too squeamish at the moment), I’d say was getting too close to my bed and might need some relocating. Maybe I can talk the spider down, coax it to look at some cartoons.
Special thanks to my friend Jerry H who made me an awesome booklet of my cartoons. It’s really neat to see them in book form and shrunk down to fit on the pages. Just like my own cartoon book. Now I can photocopy it and send it to another friend in NYC named Michele who doesn’t own a computer and can’t receive my emails. She’ll be very happy, too.
