Hola Friends & Family
Yes, it’s early, I know. I took a much needed vacation day from the Salt Mines–I mean, my job.
Did you know that a person who collects stamps is called a “philatelist?” I actually learned that from an episode of Barney Miller. Who says TV sit-coms ain’t educational?
So, my Rejected Stamps theme continues. These cartoons are fun to do and less time consuming than others. I can complete one in about an hour and get to bed somewhat earlier then I have been, which is good–and makes the Salt Mine Bosses happier. Trying to find balance in life often looks strikingly like a see-saw: going up and down until one eventually finds the somewhat balance in the middle.
I wish everyone a cool, refreshing day during this heat-streak descending on us. 114 degrees in King City today–whoah! I learned last night’s mini power outage was one of PG & E’s rolling black outs here in the County trying to lighten the grid’s load.
Until tomorrow. . .
Enjoy!

“No rulers were harmed during the making of this cartoon.”
“Let’s still be careful out there.”
