Oh, well. It’s been a tough couple of weeks. Job changes, job challenges and job stresses.
But at least I have a job to complain about.
I hope everyone had a safe, healthy and thoroughly creative day. And mildly productive, too, right?
Today’s Essential Cartoon casts our insidious virus as the protagonists in their attempt to circumvent our efforts to combat and defend against their continued barrage. So, yes, by all means, let’s still be considerably careful out there. Who knows just what may show up at our door. Visiting friends should be reminded and urged and expected to wear maaaaaaaaasssssssssks!
After I draw, ink, erase and color my cartoons, I take a photo of them with my iPad. Then I can lighten or darken, enrich the colors or dull them. I often like to bring the colors way up to heighten their intensity, making them pop that much more. Sometimes I go overboard. With the virus villains, I like to ramp up the colors, over saturate them (I believe that’s correct) to make them as gross as possible. So, just a little info about my cartooning and warped thinking processes.

Do they still show The Odd Couple or The Honeymooners somewhere on TV? When I was a kid I usually watched them on channel 11 back to back when I was supposed to be getting ready for bed.
