Happy Su-Monday. I hope everyone is doing great.
I want to thank Linda O for sending me a video of an Emmy-Winning choir from PS22 on Staten Island, my home town. They all sang “I’ll Stand By You” and it was extremely inspirational.
Also, thanks to my friend Byron. As s result of yesterday’s cartoon, he told me that his dad was an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist, which is called an:
Otorhinolaryngologist.
And they used to teach the kids how to say the word with Oto (ears) Rhino (nose) Lar (throat) with Ngologist at the end. Let’s all practice that tongue twister a few times.
Today’s Essential Cartoon brings me back to my own roots: cinemagraphically. One of my favorite movies growing up was Jaws (sorry Mom). I had the rubber shark and the Fisher Price Sea Explorer set and the John Williams sound track resounding in the background. What kid wouldn’t be happier?
