Happy July 4th!
I hope everyone is safe at home and tucked under their beds. Salinas definitely seems to have a rep for lots of illegal firework action. Or maybe those bright flashes and loud booms are simply my over-active brain and its synapses firing.
Speaking of brains, today’s cartoon was born from the brain of my sister, Ana Victoria G. We were on the phone last night and she came up with a great idea, as well as dialogue and even the fireworks in the sky. It was fun working with her on this project. Thanks Sis! You rock like Mr. Spock. Oh well, at least it rhymes.
Be well and super safe today, everyone. Look to the skies. Or run for the hills. Or just grab a bowl of popcorn and watch something that makes you laugh. I was thinking about Abbott & Costello, or episodes of Barney Miller, which is still one of my favorite TV shows growing up. Episodes can be found on YouTube.
